The Superintendent’s Letter
Our churches are south of the River Tees in North East England, an area once known for heavy industry and petrochemical plants. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and coast, a community spanning inner city to idyllic rural villages, with a population drawn from Asylum seekers to Artisans, Students to Surgeons and Mechanics to Millionaires. Please look around our website and perhaps visit us.
You will be most welcome

We pray for the Avenue team, and also for the Live at Home Scheme. Pray for Linthorpe Road church and the Project.
We pray today for all who work in our churches with children and young people and for those young people who have returned to College or University. Pray for the Circuit Leadership Team that they may be humble and faithful in their actions and discussions. Pray for Normanby.
We pray today for those who are in training for ordained ministry and for those who train them and for those who select them for training. Pray for all who may be thinking about a call to preach.
We pray today for the Mid Week services which take place at Normanby and Linthorpe Road. Be with those who lead and those who organise these services. Pray for Elaine at the Circuit Office and the valuable work she does in supporting our churches.
Pray today for those Christians standing up for their faith in all walks of life. Pray for those who are ostracised for their belief or culture. Bless Alisa and the MAP team in their caring work.
We think of the start of Lent in the coming week that it may be a time to think and pray about our faith as we share together or on our own. Help us to benefit from this special time when we prepare ourselves for Easter. Pray for the Chair of our District Rev Richard Andrew.
