Sunday 20th January 2019 9.30 am   Mr R. Mapplebeck:     6.00pm  RTC

For the family and friends of Reg Lawrence, a faithful member of the church until recent years moved him down south.  His funeral will be here on Friday 18th January at 11.00am then at Redcar Crem. at 12.00. The family invite you stay to remember Reg as they have catered for refreshments here after the service.

Not quite what you expected. Did you receive a gift for Christmas that just wasn’t quite you. Don’t push it to the back of the cupboard & forget about it. Put it to good use. Why not donate it to the church, we are always looking for items for raffles & tombola's. They will certainly be very much appreciated. Please either leave in vestry cupboard clearly labelled for W&M or see Joan or Julie. Many thanks for your thoughtful support, W&M.  Thanks to all who supported in any way the recent coffee morning which raised £233.45p  for Church Funds.

Save the Date for Safeguarding training

If you are a Minister, a Local Preacher, a Worship Leader or the paid or voluntary leader of any group involving children, young people or adults (eg. Sunday School, Youth Club, Toddler Group etc..) you should be planning to attend the Advanced Module safeguarding training event at Marton in January 2019?   If the answer is YES, I need to know to plan for numbers but also to be able to send out pre-course training materials. By way of reminder, the session is scheduled to run between 9.00am and 1.00pm on Saturday 19th January at Marton Methodist Church.

This is important required training for those in leadership positions in the church so if you are planning to be there could you contact Mark Braithwaite (circuit safeguarding adviser) to confirm your attendance on 01642-320627 or email markbraithwaite@btinternet.com

Offertory :

Don't  ask”' what do I need to give?” But “how do I give reflecting God’s love for me?”  Thank you for your support in God's continuing work in the Church.  As a sign of the offering of ourselves, please stand as the Stewards bring forward today’s offering.
