For the families of Bob Stoddart and Reg Lawrence, and Albert Hall whose funeral will  take place at Ormesby Chapel on Monday 11th February at 12:00 noon, followed by committal at Bede Chapel, Teesside Crematorium at 1:00pm . For Jean Binns, Tom Conway,  Joyce Smith, Rene Leadstone and Allan Baines and Derek Nichol.  For  we, the Methodist Church,  that we may continue our witness as followers of Christ

Mission in Britain: (Home Missioins)

Mission in Britain – Envelopes are available for donations to this Methodist fund and I also have some spare boxes if anybody would like one to save loose change throughout the year.  Veronica

Ways and Means Committee would like to thank all those who braved the weather last week and supported the big Coffee Morning in any way.  £After expenses £115.20 was raised for Church Funds.


There will be a circuit service with the Chinese congregation on Sunday 10th February 2019 at Linthorpe Road Methodist Church at 1.00pm followed by food. T

Fun Quiz Night

with a valentine theme – Friday 15th February from 7pm. Adult £5.00, Child £2.50 light supper included. Come along & join the fun; tickets available from W&M.

Food Hygiene Course

at Linthorpe Road Resource Centre  6 hours course over 2 days. You need to attend both sessions.  1st one Monday 18th Feb at 10.00am and 2nd one Wed. 20th Fb 10.00 no charge. Contact 01642 225396 and speak to Amanda, Anita or Sandra to book a place.

There will be a gentle walk on February 23rd meeting at Swainby village hall at 0930. The route will take us up Scugdale over the Cleveland Way down into Carlton and then back via Faceby to Swainby. For more details or to say you will be joining us contact Dave Elliott .
