 The Darlington District is seeking to nominate a new Synod Secretary to the Synod in April 2027. The Synod Secretary role is open to both lay and ordained and is one of the most important roles in the district, playing a key role in the District Leadership Team, the Chairs Nomination Panel and in organising the Synod. District policy also enables the Synod Secretary to be a representative to the Conference where they so choose. The person nominated will have a heart and passion for the mission and ministry of circuits within the district, and will be a good communicator and team player with good pastoral skills.  The Darlington District is seeking to appoint a new District Treasurer at the District Synod in April 2027. The District Treasurer plays a vital role in the district working closely with the District Chair, the District Leadership Team, the Resourcing Mission Team and Circuit Treasurers. The person nominated will have a heart and passion for the mission and ministry of circuits within the district. You will oversee the district's finances and accounts and will have experience and skills in these areas.
