We had a very unexpected visitor at the coffee morning.
Macmillan Cancer Support - Little Visitor
Richard had been in the garden and found a hoglet (a baby hedgehog, for those like me who didn’t know what baby hedgehogs were called). Luckily Alison had a friend from the Fens in Hartlepool who rescues hedgehogs so she was able to phone her and subsequently arrange for it to be taken there. It has been called “Trinity” for obvious reasons. The little one weighs 258gms so not a bad weight but she will keep her eye on it. Trinity has a couple of ticks but still not unfurling. Trinity is in good hands as it’s her 198th hog this year.
Trinity has lost a bit of weight over night. Keeping him on a heat pad as he is a touch cool. He has tested positive for capillary eggs this morning so treatment will commence for this.
Alison has half built the hedgehog house which she is going to finish with the help of the Brownies.

About Trinity Church
A Typical Sunday Service
A typical service lasts roughly for an hour. 11am until Noon
When you walk into our buildings you will be greeted by a member of the congregation.
You may sit in any seat. There is a toddler-friendly seating section at the back. We have an excellent sound system with loop-hearing. Service books and Hymn books are in the pews ready for you. We usually sing around 4-5 hymns accompanied by organ, piano and band. Sometimes there is a song from the Singing Group. We hear bible readings, say prayers and listen to the message from the preacher. After the service coffee is served. All are welcome.
